3-2. Calibration with a Backlight Sensor
Monitors are calibrated and color-adjusted with a backlight sensor.
Note
•
IThe color temperature and the target value of calibration setting must be set 7,500K or 12,500K
(for MX190S, 6,500K or 12,500) when proceeding this function.* (See “3-1. Calibration with an
Optical Sensor”.)
•
The color adjustment is available when the monitor is R22.
[Procedure]
1. The monitor must be on 30 minutes before proceeding calibration.
2. Click [Calibration] - [Calibration (Backlight Sensor)] on the menu bar.
3. [Input tester name] will appear. Input tester’s name and click [OK].
Note
• Input tester’s name within 31 characters.
4. The calibration message is displayed on the monitor screen.
5. Click [Proceed]
Tips
• A calibration message and a measurement window are displayed on each monitor when
several monitors are connected. Click [Skip] to move a message onto the next monitor
when a message and a measurement window are displayed on the monitor.
6. The completion message appears when the calibration of the connected
monitor is completed. To diagnose other monitors, click [Next Monitor]. To exit
the calibration, click [Exit].
Note
• The adjustment will be locked after calibration when using a monitor. Unlock the
color adjustment to adjust the color in the specific mode. (Refer to the user’s manual of
monitor.)
